Scholarship Board Confidentiality & Privacy Agreement

All Scholarship Board members of It’s A Family Affair are required to protect the privacy and confidentiality of scholarship applicants and the scholarship selection process.

As a Scholarship Board member, I understand and agree that:

Scholarship applications and supporting documents are confidential.
Applicant names, contact information, essays, academic information, scores, reviewer comments, and other personal information will not be shared with unauthorized individuals.
Scholarship applications and records will only be accessed for authorized Scholarship Board purposes.
I will not copy, forward, post, photograph, distribute, or otherwise share confidential applicant information unless authorized by It’s A Family Affair.
Scholarship Board discussions, scoring, voting, and selection deliberations will remain confidential.
I will protect passwords and access information used for the private Scholarship Board Portal.
I will handle scholarship records according to the organization’s approved procedures.
My responsibility to protect confidential information continues after the scholarship selection process is completed and after my service on the Scholarship Board ends.
