About the Scholarship
The Ray’s Resilience Scholarship recognizes students who have overcome significant financial, family, personal, or other life challenges while continuing to pursue their education.
Through this scholarship, It’s A Family Affair seeks to recognize perseverance, determination, and the ability to continue moving forward despite difficult circumstances.
Eligibility
- Applicant must demonstrate resilience in overcoming a significant challenge or hardship.
- Applicant must be continuing their educational journey.
- Applicant must meet the published requirements for the scholarship application period.
- Applicant must submit a complete scholarship application.
- All required supporting documents must be received by the published deadline.

Selection Process
Applications will be reviewed using the approved scholarship eligibility requirements and selection criteria established by It’s A Family Affair.
Submission of an application does not guarantee a scholarship award.
Scholarship Award
One selected recipient will receive a $500 Ray’s Resilience Scholarship.
Application Period
Applications for the Ray’s Resilience Scholarship will open on February 1, 2027.
Award Announcement: By May 14, 2027.
